English grammar – “there”, “their” and “they’re”?

How should we use “there”, “their” and “they’re”?

These all sound the same but have different uses. Here is a quick explanation of how to use each of these words.

There (refers to a place or is used as a pronoun):
Put the book over there.
There are many reasons to visit the museum.

Their (possessive form of they):
Their car is parked outside.
The students finished their homework.

They’re (contraction of they are):
They’re going to a restaurant tonight.
Do you know if they’re coming to the party tonight?
